WHICH IS MORE POWERFUL? RELIGION OR SCIENCE?

Which is more powerful? Religion or science? This is a million dollar question. Priests and Scientists all over the world argue on this. So which is more powerful?


Well. Let’s see what the science has to say.


Science is proven and Religion is not. Everything which science suggests is proven by various methods but nothing which the religion suggests is proven. Let it be the Big Bang theory or the existing of atoms in every matter. All is proven. Without any science, mankind won’t survive. Mankind won’t be able to reach its ultimate goal - How to be immortal. Only science can answer all the question which occur in a human’s brain. Can you find how to survive Alzheimer’s disease using religion? Of course not. Before science was born, death rate was so high and birth rate was very low. Now see. Birth rate have increased while very less people die today. How was it possible? 


Ask the same question to a religion person.


Religion is better than science. Even though every religion’s ideas and practices are not proven but they are stated by our ancestors. All the ideas and practices have been practised through hundred of years. Science is new. All it says cannot be right. Without science too we can all survive. If our ancestors did, why can’t us? But without religion, how is life possible? Faith is our life. Without faith, one cannot live. How can life be in a test tube? Isn’t that insane? The science is creating meat using a chicken’s feather? Isn’t that psychotic? Mankind has to remember that nature has provide every luxury to us. But if we turn against the laws of nature, we won’t stand a chance.


So, what is the final verdict? The verdict is simple. No one is greater than anyone. Religion and Science is not greater than each other. No one can say Science is greater or Religion is greater with few facts.



What about me? What do I believe?


I believe in both Science and Religion. But I am rather inclined to Religion. Because without we believing an outside force who is powerful than us; who is there to correct us; we feel secured and more accountable. Even if god don’t exist, Religion will help us to live a more disciplined life.


I sometimes say that religion and science are not poles apart but are actually soul mates. They are just two different languages which try to say the same thing. 

For example:


Our ancestors had said 'Poison can be cured by black pepper.'

Huh? What?

Wait.

Let's see what science wants to say.

Black pepper contains a chemical called Piperine. This chemical seems to have many effects in the body. It seems to reduce pain, improve breathing, and reduce inflammation. Piperine also seems to improve brain function, but it is not clear how.

We know that most of the poison increases pain, reduces breathing and increases inflammation. 

So, this means.

Our ancestors and science say the same. Just in two different ways.

Hence Proved.
